ಕನ್ನಡ ಗಾದೆಮಾತು – ನಾಯಿ ಬೊಗಳಿದರೆ ದೇವಲೋಕ ಹಾಳೆ?

ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಸಿದ್ಧಿಗಾಗಿ ಶ್ರಮಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವವರಿಗೆ ಉಪಯುಕ್ತ ಕಿವಿಮಾತಿನಂತಹ ಹಿರಿಯರ ನುಡಿ – ಈ‌ ಗಾದೆಮಾತು. ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿರುವ ಯಾರೆಂದರವರಿಗೆ ಬೊಗಳುತ್ತಿರುವ ನಾಯಿಯ ಅರಚಾಟದಿಂದಾಗಿ, ದೂರದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲೋ ಇರುವ ದೇವಲೋಕಕ್ಕೆ ಯಾವ ಹಾನಿಯೂ ಆಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಪರಿಶ್ರಮದಿಂದ, ಶ್ರದ್ಧೆಯಿಂದ ಯಾವುದಾದರೂ ಒಂದು ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವವರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಅಸಹನೆ, ಅಸೂಯೆ ಅಥವಾ ಇನ್ಯಾವುದೋ ನಕಾರಾತ್ಮಕ ಭಾವನೆಯಿಂದ ಟೀಕೆ ಮಾಡುವವರು ಇದ್ದೇ ಇರುತ್ತಾರೆ‌; ಅದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ತಲೆ ಕೆಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಮಾಡುವ ಕೆಲಸ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಬಾರದು ಸಾಧಕರು. ದೇವಲೋಕ ಹೇಗೆ ಬೀದಿನಾಯಿಯ ಬೊಗಳುವಿಕೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ತಲೆ ಕೆಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ ತಾನು ಸದಾ ಇರುವಂತೆ ಇರುತ್ತದೆಯೋ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾವಂತ ಪರಿಶ್ರಮಿಗಳು ತಾವು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ಉತ್ತಮ‌ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ಮುಂದುವರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಬೇಕು. ಅಶಿಕ್ಷಿತ, ದುರುದ್ದೇಶದ ಟೀಕೆ-ಟಿಪ್ಪಣಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೆದರಿ ಸಜ್ಜನರು ತಾವು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ಸತ್ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಬಾರದು‌……ಅಲ್ಲವೇ? ನಾಯಿ ಬೊಗಳಿದರೆ ದೇವಲೋಕವೇನೂ ಹಾಳಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಎಷ್ಟು ಅರ್ಥಪೂರ್ಣ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಾಂತ್ವನದಾಯಕವಾಗಿದೆಯಲ್ಲ ಈ ಗಾದೆಮಾತು!

This proverb in Kannada is a good tip to the people who are working hard honestly in some useful field. There will be naysayers and ill informed critics who keep commenting. The persons who are seriously working should not be affected by such unexamined, useless comments. Just like a barking dog, badmouthed people will be talking and commenting all the time, because they have nothing better to do.Just like the heaven, which is the abode of Gods, won’t be affected by a barking dog, the hard working people worth their salt, should stay unaffected by thoughtless comments of their jealous fellowbeings. A very good advice to go about our lives. Isn’t it?
