ಕನ್ನಡ ಗಾದೆಮಾತು – ಹಿಮಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಮ ಹೆಚ್ಚಂತೆ, ವೀರಭದ್ರನಲ್ಲಿ ಅವತಾರ ಹೆಚ್ಚಂತೆ.

ವಿಶ್ವಜೀವನದ ಒಂದು  ವಿಚಿತ್ರ ಸಂಗತಿಯನ್ನು ಈ ಅಪರೂಪದ ಗಾದೆಮಾತು ಹೇಳುತ್ತದೆ. ಹಿಮಾಲಯ ಎಂಬುದು ತನ್ನ ಹೆಸರೇ ಸೂಚಿಸುವಂತೆ ಹಿಮದ ಮನೆ. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಮದ ಹೆಚ್ಚಳ ಆಗುತ್ತಲೇ ಇರುತ್ತದೆ. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ದಕ್ಷಯಜ್ಞದ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿವನ ಕೋಪದ ಫಲವಾಗಿ ಅವನ ಕೂದಲಿನಿಂದ  ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ ವೀರಭದ್ರನ ಆರ್ಭಟ ಬಹಳ ಹೆಚ್ಚು. ಅದು ಸದಾ ಹೆಚ್ಚುತ್ತಲೇ ಇರುವ ಸಂಗತಿ.  ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ತುಂಬ ಯೋಚಿಸುವಂತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಬದುಕನ್ನು ಗಮನಿಸುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತದಲ್ಲವೆ ಈ ಗಾದೆಮಾತು?

It is a very peculiar thing about life that like attracts like and things accumulate in places where they are already in excess. There is no dearth of snow in Himalaya but snow keeps accumulating there all the time. Just like money keeps accumulating with the rich. Similarly, the angry Veerabhadra who was begot by Shiva’s hair in the episode of Dkashayajna, keeps getting angrier and keeps making more and more exaggerated actions. This phenomenon might sound strange, but nonetheless it is true!
