ನಾವು ಚಿಕ್ಕಮಕ್ಕಳಿದ್ದಾಗಿನಿಂದ ಕೇಳಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಮನಸ್ಸುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅಚ್ಚೊತ್ತಿರುವ ಮಾತು ಇದು. ಇದರ ಅರ್ಥವೇನೆಂದರೆ, ಬೇರೆಯವರ ಆಸ್ತಿ ಅಥವಾ ಹಣವು ನಮ್ಮ ಮಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ವಿಷ ಇದ್ದ ಹಾಗೆ.‌ ಅದನ್ನು ನಾವು ಮುಟ್ಟಬಾರದು. ಹಣದ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ‌ ಪ್ರಾಮಾಣಿಕತೆಯನ್ನು ರೂಢಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಇದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಉತ್ತಮ ಬುದ್ಧಿಮಾತು ಇರಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವೇ? ಲಂಚಕೋರರು, ಮೋಸಗಾರರು ಅವಶ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಅರಿಯಬೇಕಾದ ಮಾತೆಂದರೆ ಇದೇ.

When young children hear it, it becomes a part of their financial moral system.  We should not desire other’s money or asset, because it can become a poison to our soul, since we have not earned it. The unscrupulous people in our society better learn this saying for their own good.
