ಕನ್ನಡ ಬರಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕವಲ್ಲ ಅಸೀಮ ಅದು ಅದಿಗಂತ; ದೇವರು ಕೇವಲ ವಿಗ್ರಹವಲ್ಲ ಅಂತರ್ಭಾವ ಅನಂತ

ಕನ್ನಡದ ನಿತ್ಯೋತ್ಸವ ಕವಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಕೆ.ಎಸ್.ನಿಸಾರ್ ಅಹಮದ್ ಅವರ `ಕನ್ನಡವೆಂದರೆ ಬರಿ ನುಡಿಯಲ್ಲ ಎಂಬ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧ ಭಾವಗೀತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬರುವ ಸಾಲುಗಳಿವು. `ಕರ್ನಾಟಕವೆಂದರೆ ಕೇವಲ ಭೌಗೋಳಿಕ ಗಡಿಗಳಲ್ಲ, ಅದು ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಕನ್ನಡವೆಂಬ ಭಾವ, ಎಲ್ಲಿದ್ದರೂ ಹೇಗಿದ್ದರೂ ನಾವು ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರಾಗಿರಬಹುದು ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಮನದಟ್ಟು ಮಾಡಿಸುವ ಸಾಲುಗಳಿವು. ದೇವರು ಎಂಬುದು ಹೇಗೆ ವಿಗ್ರಹದ ಕಲ್ಪನೆಯನ್ನು ಮೀರಿ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನೊಳಗಿನ ಭಾವವಾಗುತ್ತದೋ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಕನ್ನಡವೂ, ಕರ್ನಾಟಕವೂ ಒಂದು ಭಾವವಾಗಿ ಸದಾ ನಮ್ಮೊಂದಿಗೆ ಇರುತ್ತವೆ, ಇರಬೇಕು ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಕವಿಯು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಸೊಗಸಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

Poet speak – kannada bari karnatakavalla, aseema adu adigantha. Devaru kevala vigrahavalla antharbhava anantha(kannada does not mean only Karanataka, it is boundless and stretches beyond horizon. God is not just an idol, but it is the inner feeling with no end).

These self – explanatory lines penned by the very famous Kannada poet Sri.K.S.Nisar Ahamed, explains the boundless nature of Kannda and Karnataka. The comparison to the thoughts on God is very apt here. This couplet is a part of the famous Kannada song `Kannadavendare bari nudiyalla’, penned by this wonderfully lyrical poet.
