ಮಾಡು, ಇಲ್ಲ, ಸುಮ್ಮನೆ ನೋಡು

ಯಾವುದೇ ಒಂದು ಕೆಲಸ ಆಗಬೇಕೆಂದರೆ ಒಂದೋ ನಾವು ಮಾಡಬೇಕು, ಇಲ್ಲವೇ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವವರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಟೀಕೆ ಮಾಡದೆ ಸುಮ್ಮನೆ ನೋಡಬೇಕು. ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವರು ತಾವೂ ಮಾಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ, ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವವರನ್ನೂ ಮಾಡಲು ಬಿಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ತಮ್ಮ ಕಟು ಟೀಕೆಗಳಿಂದ ಅವರ ಮನಸ್ಸನ್ನು ನೋಯಿಸಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುವಂತಹ ಹುಮ್ಮಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ಭಂಗ ತರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಇದರಿಂದ ಯಾರಿಗೂ ಲಾಭವಿಲ್ಲ, ಕೆಲಸವೂ ಆಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಆಧಿಕಪ್ರಸಂಗತನ ಮತ್ತು ಬೇಡದ ಮಾತುಗಳು ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ಹಾಳು ಮಾಡುವ ಸಂದರ್ಭವನ್ನು ಗಮನಿಸಿದಾಗ ಬಹುಶಃ ವಿವೇಕಿಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದ ಒಬ್ಬ ಹಿರಿಯರು ಈ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿರಬೇಕು. ತನ್ನ ಅರ್ಥಪೂರ್ಣತೆಯಿಂದಾಗಿ ಈ ಮಾತು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಬಳಕೆಗೆ ಬಂದು ಒಂದು ಗಾದೆ ಮಾತಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧವಾಗಿರಬಹುದು ಅನ್ನಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.

There are some people around us who neither get the work done, nor allow others to do it. They keep interfering and keep making unnecessary comments. This will hamper the work. So the wise say that do the job yourself or when someone else is doing it keep your big mouth shut. Once again it is proved that proverbs are some of the wisest sayings mankind has ever heard.
