ಕನ್ನಡ ಗಾದೆಮಾತು – ಕಾಮಾಲೆ ಕಣ್ಣಿಗೆ ಲೋಕವೆಲ್ಲ ಹಳದಿ.

ಕಾಮಾಲೆ ರೋಗ ಬಂದರೆ ಕಣ್ಣು ಹಳದಿಯಾಗುವುದು ನಮಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತು. ‌ಈ ರೋಗ ಬಂದವರಿಗೆ ಲೋಕವೆಲ್ಲ ಹಳದಿಯಾಗಿ ಕಂಡರೆ ಅದು ಅವರ ಕಣ್ಣಿನ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಯೇ ಹೊರತು ಲೋಕದ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ಅಲ್ಲ.‌ ಇದೇ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವು ಸಲ ಜನ ತಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ದೋಷ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು‌ ಆ ದೋಷವನ್ನು ಲೋಕದ ಜನರಿಗೆಲ್ಲಾ ಆರೋಪಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಭ್ರಷ್ಟ ಮನಸ್ಸುಗಳು ಹೀಗೆ ಮಾಡುವುದು ಹೆಚ್ಚು.‌ ಇಂತಹ ಮನಸ್ಸುಗಳಿಂದ ನಾವು ದೂರ ಇರುವುದು ಒಳಿತು.

Kannada proverb – Kaamale kannige lokavella haladi ( For the jaundice eye, the whole world is yellow).

It is a well known fact that persons who are affected by Jaundice disease find that their eyes acquire a yellow shade. But if such persons say that the world looks yellow we know that it is not the fact. In the same way, sometimes, people who  have a fault or anomaly project that fault or anomaly on the world. The more corrupt the mind, more the behavior. We have to be beware of such persons.
