ಕನ್ನಡ ದಾಸವಾಣಿ – “ಅಲ್ಲಿದೆ ನಮ್ಮನೆ ಇಲ್ಲಿರುವುದು ಸುಮ್ಮನೆ”

ಇದು ಪುರಂದರದಾಸರ ಒಂದು ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧ ಕೀರ್ತನೆಯ ಮೊದಲ ಸಾಲು‌‌. ಇಂದು ಇದ್ದು, ನಾಳೆ ಇಲ್ಲವಾಗುವ    ಭೂಮಿಯ ಜೀವನದ ಅರ್ಥಹೀನತೆ, ನಶ್ವರತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಈ ಸಾಲು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಸರಳವಾಗಿ  ಹೇಳುತ್ತದೆ. ಮಾಳಿಗೆ ಮನೆ, ಮಡದಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಎಂದು ಒದ್ದಾಡುವ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ತನ್ನ ನಿಜವಾದ ಮನೆಯಾದ ದೇವರ ಮನೆಯನ್ನು ಮರೆತುಬಿಡುತ್ತಾನೆ, ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾಡಬಾರದು ಎಂಬುದೇ ಇದರ ತಾತ್ಪರ್ಯವಾಗಿದೆ.

This is a spiritual insight by Purandara Dasa. He feels that one should not dwell in transient things of life like buildings and mortals, but concentrate his or her mind on the Almighty, because Almighty’s home is the real home of a human being.
