ಕನ್ನಡ ಗಾದೆಮಾತು – ರಾತ್ರಿ ಕಂಡ ಬಾವಿಗೆ ಹಗಲು ಬಿದ್ರಂತೆ. 

ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವು ಸಲ ಜನರು ಗೊತ್ತಿದ್ದೂ ಗೊತ್ತಿದ್ದೂ ತೊಂದರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿಹಾಕಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.‌ ತಮ್ಮ ಅಳತೆ ಮೀರಿ ಸಾಲ ಮಾಡುವುದು, ಮೋಸಗಾರರು ಎಂದು ಒಳ ಮನಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಿದ್ದರೂ ಅಂತಹವರನ್ನು ನಂಬುವುದು, ಈ ಸಮಕಾಲೀನ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ವ್ಯಾಮೋಹಕ್ಕೆ, ಅತಿಯಾಸೆಗೆ ಒಳಗಾಗಿ  ಅಂತರ್ಜಾಲ ಅಪರಾಧಗಳಿಗೆ( ಸೈಬರ್ ಕ್ರೈಮ್) ಬಲಿಪಶುವಾಗುವುದು.‌…ಇಂಥವು.‌ ಹೀಗೆ, ಜನ ಹಳ್ಳ ಇದೆಯೆಂದು ಗೊತ್ತಿದ್ದರೂ ಹೋಗಿ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ತಾವಾಗಿ ಬಿದ್ದರೆ  ‘ಅಯ್ಯೋ ನೋಡಿ, ರಾತ್ರಿ ಕಂಡ ಬಾವಿಗೆ ಹಗಲು‌ ಬಿದ್ರಂತೆ’ ಎಂದು ಅವರ ಜೊತೆಗಾರರು, ಪರಿಚಿತರು ಉದ್ಗರಿಸುವುದು ವಾಡಿಕೆ.

Sometimes people  behave so foolishly that they get themselves into trouble knowingly. For example taking a much bigger loan amount than they can ever repay, trusting untrustworthy people though in their heart of hearts they know the truth, falling prey to cyber crimes though every where they see the warnings to be weary of them.. the list can be endless. In such situations, people who observe these foolish behaviours use the above proverb.
