ಕನ್ನಡ ಗಾದೆಮಾತು – ಅಕ್ಕರೆ ಇದ್ದಲ್ಲಿ ದುಕ್ಕ ಇರುತ್ತೆ‌. 

ಮನುಷ್ಯ ಸಂಬಂಧಗಳಲ್ಲಿನ‌ ಒಂದು ಸತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಹೇಳುವ ಗಾದೆಮಾತು ಇದು. ಎಲ್ಲಿ ಅಕ್ಕರೆ ಇರುತ್ತದೋ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಳಜಿ, ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆ, ಚಿಂತೆ, ದುಃಖ ಇವೆಲ್ಲ ಇರುತ್ತವೆ.‌ ತಾಯಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಸಂಬಂಧ, ತಂದೆ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಸಂಬಂಧ ….ಇವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇನ್ನು ಯಾವ ದುಃಖವಿಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೂ ರೋಗ, ಸಾವು ತರುವ ಅಗಲಿಕೆಯ ದುಃಖವಂತೂ ಇರುತ್ತದೆ ಅಲ್ಲವೆ? ನಿಜ ಹೇಳಬೇಕೆಂದರೆ ನಾವು ತುಂಬ ಕಷ್ಟ ನೋವು, ಅನುಭವಿಸುವುದು ನಾವು‌ ಯಾರನ್ನು ತುಂಬ ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುತ್ತೇವೋ ಅವರ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದಲೇ ಹೊರತು ಅಪರಿಚಿತರಿಂದ ಅಲ್ಲ.‌ ಬದುಕಿನ ಒಂದು ವಿಪರ್ಯಾಸ ಇದು. ಬದುಕಿನ ಒಂದು ಸತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಿದೆ ಅಲ್ಲವೆ, ಈ ಗಾದೆಮಾತು? 

Kannada proverb – Akkare iddalli dukha iruththe( Where there is tender affection, there is sorrow).

In human relationships where there is deep love and affection, there are also expectations, needs, betrayal, sorrow ….and what not! It is very ironical that we feel the deepest sorrow usually because of our closest bonds! If not anything else, death and disease will bring a lot of pain in affectionate bonds. This way, the above proverb has depicted a hard truth of life.
