ಕನ್ನಡ ಗಾದೆಮಾತು – ನೋಡಿ ತಿಳೀಬೇಕು, ಮಾಡಿ ಕಲೀಬೇಕು.

ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವು ಜಯಶಾಲಿಗಳಾಗಬೇಕಾದರೆ ಅನೇಕ  ಸಂಗತಿಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯಬೇಕಾಗುತ್ತದೆ, ಕಲಿಯಬೇಕಾಗುತ್ತದೆ‌. ಬೇರೆಯವರು ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುವ ರೀತಿಯನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ನಾವು ಬಹಳಷ್ಟು ವಿಷಯಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯಬಹುದು‌ ; ಉದಾಹರಣೆಗೆ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ, ಕಛೇರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಮಗಿಂತ ಹಿರಿಯರು, ಅನುಭವಸ್ಥರು ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುವುದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು. ಅದರೆ ಇನ್ನು ಕೆಲವು ಕೆಲಸಗಳು ನಾವು ಮಾಡಿದಾಗಲೇ ಅವು ನಮಗೆ ಬರುವುದು‌ ; ಉದಾಹರಣೆಗೆ, ಈಜು,  ರುಚಿಕರ ಅಡಿಗೆ, ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಕಾರು ಚಾಲನೆ ಮುಂತಾದ ಕೌಶಲ್ಯ ಬೇಡುವ ಕೆಲಸಗಳು‌. ನೋಡಿ ತಿಳಿದರೂ ನಿಜವಾಗಿಯೂ ಒಂದು ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಲು ನಮಗೆ ಬರುವುದು, ನಾವು ಅದನ್ನು ಸ್ವತಃ ಮಾಡಿ ಕಲಿತಾಗಲೇ‌. ಅಲ್ಲವೆ?

Life is so complex and inriguing that there is a lot to understand and a lot more to learn. Some things we can understand by seeing how others do a particular work, for example, the rituals in a worship at home or maintaining a file in an office. Then there are some other things in life, which we have to do by ourselves  if we have to learn them. For example, swimming, cooking, car driving etc. 

This proverb rings so true. Isn’t it?
